About the Role

We are looking for an experienced administrator to support our HR and Training department. As the HR and Training Administrator your key accountabilities will be to provide a high quality administrative service to assigned Departments, Regions and Depots in relation to all employee life-cycle processes (recruitment, starters, leavers, employee changes) and to handle general telephone enquiries into the HR and Training Department in a professional and polite manner.

You will be responsible for maintaining the HR system ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness in the process and also for supporting specific projects and on-going tasks as laid out by your manager.

Due to the time critical nature of our business the ability to work at pace and to tight deadlines is critical. You will be required to provide additional administrative support to colleagues in the HR & Training team and undertake general administrative duties including, but not limited to: database/ record management, maintaining intranet pages.

About You

As the successful administrator you will have a demonstrable career history in providing high quality administrative support for a large multi layered organisation. You will be able to evidence the ability to work on your own initiative and have the drive and self-motivation to provide an outstanding service to your customers. There is no requirement to have any HR or training experience.

Your strong communications skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to succeed in this role as will your strong organisational, decision-making, problem solving and time management skills.

Due to the nature of this role, where all aspects of the service we deliver to our customers is monitored, it is necessary for you to have excellent levels of computer literacy, be proficient with Microsoft Office and have the ability to analyse data and take action accordingly.
