Job Description
DPD are currently recruiting for an experienced Depot Administrator to join our thriving business. 

This role, which is based in our Cardiff Depot, will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of the UK's leading parcel delivery business. In this role you will report to the Site Manager and the activities you are responsible for are crucial in enabling your Depot to operate effectively.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Weekly payroll and petty cash
  • Collation of personnel and training records
  • Secretarial duties, typing confidential documents and letters
  • Ensuring the day-to-day administration is dealt with quickly and accurately
  • Recording of purchase orders
  • Processing and coding invoices
  • Administration of new starters and leavers
  • Liaising with Credit and Billing to resolve queries

About You

As the successful candidate your CV will demonstrate that you have gained strong all round administrative experience. An awareness of payroll data inputting would be advantageous. Due to the nature of our business the ability to thrive in a busy and fast paced environment would be preferred.

Your strong customer service, organisational and good computer literacy skills will be fully utilised in this role. Along side these you will need to have

  • A good telephone manner
  • High attention to detail to produce quality work
  • Be a team player and be able to manage your time effectively
