A vacancy now exists for a  new role of a Commercial Development Executive for Hull area.

 This Role will be part of the Commercial Development Team and will be based at DPD Goole Depot. 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Identifying and developing a ‘prospect funnel’ sufficient in size to fund  DPD Local new business targets as laid down in the company’s strategic plan
  • Monitoring performance of new customers to ensure they trade to agreed profile, agree and deliver action plans if variances occur
  • Successfully handover all new accounts trading above £750 per week to relevant member of the CRM team within 12 weeks of trade
  • To achieve all account portfolio product target’s as laid down by the Company
  • Contact existing customers at regular intervals in line with a planned call matrix to identify additional revenue streams to support achieving the yearly revenue target
  • Achieve 95% retention for account portfolio
  • Complete annual price increases (API's) for all accounts within portfolio
  • Monitor profitability of your portfolio customer base (weekly spend level £100-£750) and take steps to improve if profitability is not at an acceptable level
  • To embrace all new products as and when launched by the company
  • To be 100% compliant with Salesforce, including account opening and maintaining activity within a prospect funnel spanning 13 weeks
  • To strive for the 100+ qualification criteria each year
The successful candidate will need to:
 
  • Achieve the Company’s  DPD Local revenue target for new business in line with the company’s strategy for customer size, type and service mix
  • Reach achievement of key performance targets
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Be computer literate
  • Be self motivating and be able to work under pressure
