We are currently recruiting a Depot Operations Administrator, to strengthen our amazing administration team based at our Deeside Depot.

In this role you will work closely with the Depot Quality Manager and General Manager where you will be accountable for the administration to both; Transport and Operational areas of the depot.

Key accountabilities will include;

  • Monitoring & reconciling automated payments for our “self employed” drivers
  • Administering stocks of uniforms and stationery
  • Carrying out Driver Licence and Forklift Truck certificate checks
  • Administering fuel stocks and orders
  • Carrying out local operational quality audits and maintaining operational reports
  • Maintaining vehicle records, keys, service schedule and defect/repairs register

What we’re looking for

  • You will have proven and demonstrable administration experience gained within a fast paced environment.
  • Experience within the transport/logistics industry would be ideal but this is not essential
  • An awareness of quality assurance and audit checking would be advantageous.
  • You will have strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and have a willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ to help your depot achieve ever-greater heights.
  • You will have good analytical skills.
  • Excellent administration skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programmes
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, self-motivation and organisation.

Job Specifics

You will have a comprehensive induction to DPD where we will go through the key processes that are required to make you a ‘rock star’.

This role will require you to work Monday – Friday.
