Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • First line of escalation for the Direct Sales Managers
  • Support and Guide the Direct Sales Managers to achieve the revenue, contribution, service mix and RPC
  • Implement and co-ordinate new starter inductions and probation sign-off for the Direct Sales Managers
  • Support with recruitment mainly 2nd stage Interviews
  • Oversee any HR Issues within the Direct Sales Teams
  • Identify and instigate any coaching & support needed for the Direct Sales Teams and the Managers
  • Champion all new products and services and ensure the team have sufficient training
  • Review and sign-off new account requests
  • Review and sign-off strategic deals and minimum pricing
  • Support and guide the Direct Sales Managers with performance management
  • Review the adherence reports for the Direct Sales Teams ensuring the Managers are taking the necessary action
  • Responsible for the one-one monthly reviews of the Direct Sales Managers
  • Monitor and police Salesforce to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Review and ensure the teams are taking the necessary action for trading vs profile reports
  • Review the handover process and ensure compliance within the department
  • Oversee the Salesforce account actions to ensure compliance
  • Responsible for holding disciplinary hearings and dealing with any HR issues including absence management
  • Resolve any payroll issues and submit payroll before cut-off
  • Review and authorise credit requests
  • Support the National Telesales and Direct Sales Manager when absent and with any project/initivates as and when required

  •  All DSE’s on target
  • The Direct Sales Team is at full headcount
  • Salesforce and campaign compliance
  • Weekly new business tracker & Performance Improvement Plans
